April 21^st.

Back to school. It was really normal. Everyone was still filled with tales of what they had done over the holidays, the boys were still annoying!

I should have been going back to school today having just got back from two and a half weeks in America, half with my cousins in Chicago, half with Mickey Mouse in Florida ….Ha!  But I don’t feel at all sad. I thought I would. I really wish we could have gone, and I really miss my cousins, but I’ve facetime and zoomed them lots, and we have rebooked to go back in Summer (as long as Covid 19 disappears by then!). 

Instead we have had such bigger things to think about. My life has been pretty cool; the nice weather, the time with my parents, hanging outside, going on my bike. But all the time I’m aware of all the bad things going on in the world. It is scary. And makes a missed holiday seem not important.
