Day Twenty-One

April 9th. Another sunny day. Another day in the garden. Another day forgetting about Covid-19. I played with my next-door neighbour, over the fence! He is only 3 years old but I had lots of fun. We played catch and laughed as my chihuahua tried to join in.

We watch the news several times a day, and it is all filled with everything that is going on. It is scary, and very sad for a lot of people. We are lucky that the weather is so nice, and I’m lucky that I have a garden and lots to do. We were talking tonight about people who live in big tall apartment blocks with no outdoor space. I can’t imagine how bad it must feel being shut up in a room like a prison.

For us, being able to live outside and ride my bike with my daddy every day, it isn’t too bad. I’m grateful for that.
