Day Nineteen

April 7th.

Today actually felt like a school holiday (although I don’t think my Mum remembered, still loaded me up with French, Singing and Piano). But it was a relaxed day.

I did P.E with Joe Wicks with my close friend Amelie via FaceTime, got to sit out in the sunshine and went on a bike ride with my dad.

The Brownie bug might be almost as contagious as the Covid-19 Bug. I had lots of questions about the recipe, and we went and took ingredients to our friend Holly because she is isolating, but still wanted to make brownies!

We sat and talked over dinner about how our lockdown was going. I actually feel ok, I can’t really remember life without lockdown now. I’m still seeing my friends on video calls; I’m enjoying being outside, cycling in the sun; I am spending some fun time with my family. It’s still strange, I feel safe. Everyone keeps telling everyone else to “Stay Safe”. I do, and I know I’m lucky that I do.
